What if we encouraged corporations to appeal to millennials through social responsibility?
While looking like the graph is going down, DASDAQ predicts that Netflix is only going to increase subscribers, as this graph excludes those who already have accounts.
Today, Netflix has over 100 million monthly global subscribers, and as we saw in the projections, it is not slowing down anytime soon. In this case, Netflix is like the largest grocery store to ever ask you to round up your penny.
I created the following mock-ups for what this would look like on a persons Netflix channel.
A sixth channel would appear on the opening screen. Each month, users would have three charities to choose where their penny goes.
Much like the red line is indicative of how much a show has been watched, it would show how many pennies of the one million were donated to each cause.
Recommended shows would also be based on the charity focus of the month.
The transition screen would have the monthly logo, to remind netflix users that what they're watching is for a greater good.
